SLIT SEEDING

Slit seeding is the process of cutting slits into the yard and depositing seed.  We make a double pass over the yard, a pass in each direction, resulting in cross hatch slits.

This is a great way to develope a new lawn without tearing out the old one. We can also kill off existing grass to give you an entirely new lawn if you would prefer.

This process is more expensive than regular overseeding, but the end result is much better. Seed is cut right into the lawn rather than laying on top of the soil. There is about an 80% germination rate using this method.
